Diatech Pharmacogenetics is a founding member of the Human AI Foundation, presented on 19 October 2026 at the University of Macerata, Italy. The initiative aims to help Italian businesses and organisations adopt artificial intelligence in ways that value people’s expertise and contributions.
At the heart of the initiative is “Human AI Teaming”: collaboration between people and AI systems within teams. This approach involves those who understand business processes in identifying where the technology can deliver tangible benefits.
The Foundation was established through an initiative led by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi and the VRAI Lab Association. Alongside these two organisations, its founding members are Diatech Pharmacogenetics, Apra, Pluservice, Inim Electronics and Campetella Robotics Center.
Oliva Alberti, CEO of Diatech Pharmacogenetics, serves as President of the Foundation. Emanuele Frontoni, Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Macerata and Co-Director of VRAI Lab, serves as Vice President.
By connecting research and industry, the Foundation aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly in Italy’s Marche region. It also seeks to improve understanding of AI among young people and within schools.
For Diatech Pharmacogenetics, taking part in the Foundation means contributing to a shared commitment to responsible innovation that creates value for people, businesses and the local community.
